About Broomfield FISH
Broomfield FISH (Community Services of Broomfield, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Family Resource Center serving residents of Broomfield County. The organization operates a client-choice food marketplace and provides emergency financial assistance, case management, referrals and delivery services to neighbors in need.
Founded from local church efforts in the 1960s and incorporated in 2001 (501(c)(3) status filed in 2002), FISH has grown into the county’s primary family resource center and food access hub, partnering with multiple local agencies to address food insecurity and related needs.
In recent years FISH has scaled operations to respond to elevated need: audited financial statements for the year ending September 30, 2024 show continued program growth, and the organization reports serving thousands of unduplicated residents annually.
