Supported passage of state restrictions limiting government participation in private immigrant detention agreements and expanded safeguards against profiting from civil immigration detention.
HB23-1242 (2023)
Helped advance requirements for reporting and reuse of produced water in oil and gas operations, strengthening water conservation and oversight in impacted communities.
HB22-1244 (2022)
Contributed to passage of stronger public protections from toxic air contaminants, including prioritized monitoring and health-based air quality standards for disproportionately impacted communities.
