ARAPAHOE COUNTY EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCIL

Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council (ACECC) is a county-level nonprofit collaborative that advances early childhood quality improvement and family support across Arapahoe County. The council provides workforce development for early childhood professionals and direct family-facing services such as in‑home visitation, child-care navigation, and parenting supports. ACECC traces its roots to Colorado’s original early childhood council pilots (established in 1997) and today operates as a locally recognized coordinator for early learning services. In fall 2023 ACECC began serving as the Local Coordinating Organization (LCO) for Colorado’s Universal Pre-K in Arapahoe County, overseeing family outreach and provider coordination for the state program. The organization focuses on improving program quality through coaching and Colorado Shines navigation, and on connecting vulnerable families to home-visiting, referrals, and community supports while continuing to publish regular workforce development calendars and trainings for early childhood providers.
