About SAINT THOMAS ACADEMY ALUMNI ASSOCIATIONS

Saint Thomas Academy Alumni Associations (EIN 84-1983646) is the official alumni nonprofit for Saint Thomas Academy, the Catholic, all-male middle- and high-school program serving the Saint Paul / Mendota Heights area. The association exists to connect graduates, preserve Academy traditions, and raise funds and volunteer support that directly benefit students and school programs.

The Alumni Association operates alumni programming (reunions, class notes, awards and an Athletic Hall of Fame), manages the Alumni Sons Endowed Scholarship Fund that helps sons and grandsons of alumni access Academy tuition, and runs charitable fundraising partnerships (including a charitable gambling initiative) that have provided recent net income to support scholarships and Academy grants. In the last 2–3 years the association has continued reunion programming, awarded alumni honors, supported athletic hall inductions, and contributed to scholarship and student-support initiatives.

Notable achievements

Alumni Sons Endowed Scholarship Fund

A long-standing endowed scholarship program funded by the Alumni Association that provides tuition support for sons and grandsons of alumni; since its inception the fund has made Academy education accessible to over 100 alumni families.

Athletic Hall of Fame

Created to preserve and celebrate Saint Thomas Academy’s athletic tradition, the Association established an Athletic Hall of Fame (first class inducted after the Hall’s creation) that organizes annual inductions and related events.

Charitable Gambling Fundraising Initiative

Launched in 2019, the Association’s charitable gambling and local partnership program has become a significant annual fundraising channel, with proceeds directed to scholarships and Academy programs.
