About TEXAS HINDU CAMPSITE INC

Texas Hindu Campsite Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to create and operate a permanent campsite and program space built specifically for Hindu youth and families in Texas. The organization grew from efforts around the Hindu Heritage Youth Camp and aims to provide culturally grounded summer camps, family retreats, and year-round programming that support cultural identity and leadership development for Hindu American children and teens. In the last 2–3 years the group moved from planning into implementation: it completed phase one of a new campsite (a multi-acre site in Columbus, TX) and began hosting and supporting youth programming while fundraising to expand facilities and year-round offerings. The organization is donor-facing, maintains a public website with donation options, and files annual tax returns as a recognized tax-exempt charity.

Notable achievements

Major donor support and fundraising growth

Raised substantial private support during the site purchase and build-out (including multiple donors contributing seven-figure sums collectively) and scaled fundraising and reported revenues in recent filings used to complete initial phases.
