About UNITED HOPE BUILDERS INC

United Hope Builders (UHB) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops affordable, prefabricated modular steel housing and related community partnerships to address homelessness and housing insecurity in the Bay Area. In recent years UHB launched the "On Good Ground" campaign and entered a definitive partnership with Community Modular to establish a regional factory intended to produce high-performance modular units, expand local employment, and accelerate delivery of affordable units to communities in San Mateo / East Palo Alto and surrounding areas. The organization has grown rapidly since its IRS recognition in 2021, reporting multi‑million-dollar assets on recent Form 990s and securing philanthropic, public, and in‑kind support to underwrite factory development and project pipelines.
