About ADAMS COUNTY SHERIFF'S EMPLOYEE FOUNDATION
The Adams County Sheriff’s Employee Foundation is a Colorado nonprofit formed in 2020 and operates as the philanthropic arm that raises and distributes funds to support community-facing programs connected to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. It is registered with the IRS as a tax-exempt organization and uses donations to underwrite local assistance events and resource distribution.
The foundation works in partnership with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and community partners (including Food Bank of the Rockies and local corporate sponsors) to run large-scale seasonal distributions and to provide targeted support for residents facing food insecurity, housing challenges, and related hardships. In recent years the foundation has supported the Sheriff’s Office’s Operation Freebird Thanksgiving distribution and holiday giving programs.
