Adam's Purpose is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 84-3747706) that provides help, hope, and healing to Black and other communities of color impacted by the death of a loved one by normalizing grief recovery and increasing access to culturally responsive mental health supports.
About ADAM'S PURPOSE
Adam's Purpose delivers culturally responsive grief support, education, advocacy and referrals for therapy, with programs designed for bereaved Black and BIPOC parents, families, and children. Founded in 2019 and based in Colorado, the organization focuses on group-based peer support, family healing circles, workshops, and resource navigation.
In the last 2–3 years Adam's Purpose has expanded programming (including individual therapy referrals), launched fundraising initiatives, and secured multi-source grant funding to scale services across the Denver metro area and surrounding Colorado communities.
