About HAWAII EXECUTIVE COLLABORATIVE
Hawai‘i Executive Collaborative (HEC) is a Honolulu-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that convenes leaders from business, government, philanthropy, education, and community to address systemic challenges and drive collective action for Hawai‘i’s future. Incorporated in November 2019 and recognized as tax-exempt in 2020, HEC serves as a neutral backbone organization that incubates initiatives, aligns resources, and supports cross-sector partnerships. HEC organizes and provides ongoing support for programs and networks including the Hawai‘i Executive Conference, Rediscovering Hawai‘i’s Soul (RHS), Climate Hawai‘i, ClimbHI Bridge, Puʻuhonua O Waiʻanae, and Kaʻū Dream; its convenings, workshops, and collaborative campaigns aim to translate leader commitments into measurable policy, funding, and community outcomes across education, climate, housing, and community resilience.
