Evergreen Legacy Foundation (EIN 84-4777007) is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in Evergreen, Colorado that serves as a local seed-funding and coordinating organization for infrastructure, safety, beautification, and community resilience projects.
ELF raises operating and project funds through merchant and individual contributions, membership, and grant-making partnerships, then leverages those funds with county and state partners to deliver sidewalks, bike lanes, planters, historic-preservation grants, and other local improvements.
In the last 2–3 years ELF has led or funded community initiatives including a Bergen Meadow campus proposal (after the school closed in May 2024), a downtown planter/beautification grant timed for Rodeo Weekend, a challenge grant to preserve Buffalo Park School, and the #EvergreenStrong Community Recovery Fund following the September 10 community shooting.
