The Denver Rescue Mission

The Denver Rescue Mission is a faith-based nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty across the Denver metro area and northern Colorado. It operates multiple locations and programs that provide emergency meals and shelter, long-term rehabilitation, transitional housing, and community outreach.

In recent years the Mission has scaled large emergency and recovery services: in fiscal year reporting covering July 1, 2022–June 30, 2023 the organization reported serving roughly 10,880 unique individuals, delivering over 1.1 million meals and providing nearly 428,000 nights of shelter; in fiscal year July 1, 2023–June 30, 2024 it reported roughly $51 million in support and revenue and allocated about 83% of expenses to program services. The Mission is also advancing expansion and prevention work in northern Colorado while operating its New Life Program (residential recovery), family transitional programs, community centers, and a ministry outreach distribution hub.
