About St. Andrew Society of Colorado
Founded in 1963, the St. Andrew Society of Colorado (SASC) organizes cultural programming that celebrates Scottish heritage across Colorado, including music, dance, athletics, clan representation and historical activities.
SASC operates as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization and provides scholarships, grants and event support for highland dancers, pipers, drummers and other Scottish arts practitioners while raising funds to sustain long‑running public events.
In the last 2–3 years the Society produced its milestone annual Highland Games events (including the 60th/61st festivals in 2024–2025), continued scholarship and youth-support programs, and advanced a Heritage Fund to help underwrite future programming.

Organizer of Colorado’s Highland Games since the 1960s, marking milestone annual festivals (60th in 2024 and 61st in 2025) that draw competitors, pipe bands, dancers and thousands of attendees.
Sustained youth scholarship program
Ongoing scholarship and award programs supporting highland dancers, pipers and drummers to access training, workshops and competitions regionally and abroad.
Heritage Fund endowment initiative
Created a Heritage Fund held in trust to build a perpetual endowment that will provide long‑term, professionally managed support for SASC activities and programming.
