Cobalt Foundation

Cobalt Foundation is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advances abortion access and reproductive rights through community organizing, political advocacy, and a donor-funded abortion fund. The organization operates Cobalt Advocates (advocacy, voter engagement, and candidate endorsements) alongside the Cobalt Abortion Fund and a Practical Support Fund that provide direct financial and travel assistance to people seeking abortion care. Since the 2022 Supreme Court decision that narrowed federal abortion protections, Cobalt substantially expanded its client assistance and practical-support work to serve increased requests from out-of-state callers while continuing statewide organizing and legislative campaigns in Colorado. The organization partners with clinics and telehealth providers across Colorado and neighboring states and maintains a public-facing fundraising and education presence to sustain both direct services and advocacy efforts.
