WE ARE OCEANIA
To empower the Micronesian community to navigate success while honoring the integrity of our diverse heritage.
About WE ARE OCEANIA
We Are Oceania is a Hawaiʻi-based, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on serving Micronesian and Pacific Islander communities across the state. The organization operates community resource specialists and a multilingual helpline that provide application assistance, benefits navigation (including SNAP, rental and utilities assistance, and health coverage enrollment), case management, and culturally grounded outreach. We Are Oceania has developed a statewide presence with programs and partnerships on Oʻahu and the neighbor islands, and in recent years has expanded services and funding to scale wrap-around supports for low-income, immigrant Micronesian families. The organization works with local funders and health partners to address access barriers and disproportionate health and social needs in Pacific Islander communities.
