About TGA USA (The Girls Academy)
TGA USA, doing business as The Girls Academy (GA), is a Minnesota-incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates a national youth soccer development platform focused on elite female players. The organization provides league competition, showcase events, coaching standards, talent identification, and player-led governance to advance athletic and personal pathways for girls and young women.
Since formalizing as a Minnesota nonprofit, the Girls Academy has expanded rapidly nationwide, running multiple conference leagues, a second-tier ASPIRE platform, age-group initiatives, and national championship events while prioritizing player voice, coach education, and college exposure opportunities.
Notable achievements
U.S. Soccer Federation membership
Secured official membership in the U.S. Soccer Federation (voted at the 2024 USSF Annual General Meeting), formalizing its standing within the U.S. youth soccer system and strengthening pathways for players and clubs.
Rapid national expansion & program launches
Expanded to more than 120 member clubs and reported participation in the low‑to‑mid tens of thousands of players by the 2025/26 season, while launching the GA ASPIRE competitive platform and a dedicated U11–U12 pathway to extend development earlier in the player lifecycle.
National events and international tour
Delivered high-profile national championships and organized the Girls Academy International Select program and inaugural international tour in 2026, increasing player exposure to college and professional scouts and international competition.
