About The Underdog Family
The Underdog Family (TUF) is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 85-1334240) founded in 2020 to help small, independent businesses navigate the digital world by providing free web design, digital marketing support, and community-focused events.
TUF operates primarily with volunteers and a small paid team, using a skills-based volunteering model to keep overhead low and deliver free technical services, workshops, and promotional events that strengthen neighborhood businesses and connections across Denver.
In the past 2–3 years the organization has continued quarterly workshops and events, marked its fourth anniversary with a public celebration in June 2024, launched a redesigned website in mid-2024, and expanded staff capacity to support social media, web design, and events.

Built services for 20+ businesses
Since founding, TUF has provided free technical services and support to more than twenty local small businesses, improving online ordering, sites, and discoverability.
Sustained annual Fall Ball fundraiser
Established an annual gala (Fall Ball) that has grown into a recurring fundraising and community-building event attracting partners, donors, and public attention.
Expanded capacity in 2024
In mid-2024 TUF launched a redesigned website and expanded staff capacity (adding roles for social media, web design, and events) to move from an all-volunteer model toward greater operational sustainability.
