About PARTNERSHIP FOR ARTISTS AND CREATIVE INDIVIDUALS

Partnership for Artists and Creative Individuals (PACI) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco that organizes events, programming, and scholarships to support artists and creative practitioners within the anthropomorphic (furry) fandom, with emphasis on LGBT+ subcultures and wellness. PACI is the organizer of Babyfur Con® (both in-person and virtual editions), runs the Virtual Babyfur Con® platform serving an international audience, and operates a scholarship program to reduce financial barriers for volunteers and attendees. The organization has been tax-exempt since 2020 and maintains an active web presence and event schedule. In the last 2–3 years PACI transitioned from primarily virtual programming to in-person convening while continuing regular virtual events, and reported meaningful year-over-year revenue growth as it expanded programming and produced both ticketed events and fundraising activities.

Notable achievements

First in-person Babyfur Con (October 2023)

PACI produced the first in-person Babyfur Con in October 2023, marking a major programmatic shift from virtual-only gatherings to an on-site convention model and reaching its planned 2023 capacity.

Significant revenue growth (fiscal 2023–2024)

The organization expanded its earned and program-service revenue substantially between fiscal years 2023 and 2024, with reported total revenue rising from about $118k (FY2023) to approximately $265k (FY2024), enabling larger-scale events and scholarship support.

Sustained international virtual engagement

PACI continued to operate Virtual Babyfur Con® events that draw participants worldwide (the site reports attendees from 50+ countries) and developed a custom secure virtual platform to support participatory programming and attendee privacy.
