About LOWELL YOUTH SPORTS FOUNDATION

The Lowell Youth Sports Foundation (LYSF) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) formed to assume ownership, development, and management of a 20-acre parcel donated by the Wege Foundation and to develop the Lowell Youth Sports Complex for area youth. The Foundation’s primary early focus is on expanding opportunities in baseball and softball, reducing participation fees over time, and supporting youth sports across the Greater Lowell area.

LYSF operates as a donor-facing nonprofit with an active fundraising campaign and community programming. In recent years the group has moved from planning into early fundraising and outreach (including community events and equipment drives) while maintaining publicly filed Form 990-EZ returns describing its finances and governance.
