BARE CHEST CALENDAR INC

Bare Chest Calendar Inc. is a San Francisco–based nonprofit that produces an annual fundraising calendar and runs year-round events to raise money for LGBTQ+ causes and medical research. The organization traces its community fundraising roots back to 1984 and operates a contest-and-team model that produces calendar sales, street-fair sales, dance parties, concessions work, and other community-facing activities. Program activity centers on a contest season to select calendar team members, multiple photo shoots to produce the physical calendar, and roughly 25–30 public fundraising events per year that keep volunteers and supporters engaged.
