About Black Product Managers (BPM)

Black Product Managers (BPM) is a San Francisco–based nonprofit network focused on increasing Black representation and career advancement in product management. The organization runs cohort-based training, mentorship, events, and an industry-facing network that connects members with hiring managers, mentors, and sponsors.

In the last 2–3 years BPM has expanded in-person programming (including a multi-day Juneteenth conference in 2023), continued its eight-week "Level Up" interview bootcamp and cohort coaching, and grown partnerships with industry employers and sponsors. Recent tax filings show the organization has been operating at a mid-six-figure scale and filing annual Form 990s as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3).
