The Foundation runs faculty development activities, international standardized examinations, fellowships, residency accreditation, and mentoring programs. Significantly grew the Foundation’s One-to-One Mentoring Program by 2025, connecting ophthalmologists across multiple countries (program participants include mentors from eight countries and dozens of mentees) to strengthen clinical and educational skills.

Launch and Scaling of International Examinations and Accreditation

Established international standardized online examinations (offered globally and scheduled twice yearly) and an accreditation pathway for residency programs, enabling consistent assessment and quality improvement in ophthalmic training.
