About PEOPLE FIRST CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

People First Charitable Foundation is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) private foundation founded in late 2021 that focuses on regional grantmaking and event-driven fundraising to support disaster relief, food security, homelessness, and related health and education needs. The foundation operates a series of regional fundraising events (the “Brews & Boards” and “Butterfly & Boards” series) and directs proceeds to local partner organizations across the U.S., including regional food banks and disaster-relief efforts such as donations to support the Maui Food Bank in 2023. People First is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and files annual Form 990-PF returns; recent filings show multi-year grantmaking activity and growing assets that support its event-driven grant strategy.
