About FRONT RANGE AREA HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER
Front Range Area Health Education Center (FRAHEC, DBA Kindness) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (tax-exempt since 2021) that operates workforce, community health, and training programs focused on underserved urban and rural communities along the Front Range.
In the last 2–3 years FRAHEC expanded programming that includes Community Health Worker and Health Navigator initiatives, AHEC Scholars and pipeline activities for health professions students, and fiscal/administrative support for community-led initiatives such as a Therapist of Color Collaborative; fiscal year 2024 reported material revenue growth that supported program scale-up.

Organizational revenue increased materially in fiscal year ending March 2024, enabling program expansion and higher program service spending to scale community health and workforce activities.
Fiscal agent for Therapist of Color Collaborative
Provided fiscal and administrative capacity as the fiscal agent for the Therapist of Color Collaborative, enabling coordination, grant management, and expanded access to culturally responsive behavioral health supports.
Student housing for rotations
Implemented a host-home housing program to house health students on away-from-home clinical rotations, supporting placement stability and encouraging practice in underserved areas.
