The Black Impact Collaborative (BIC) is a collective of leaders and organizations led by and serving people of the African diaspora in Greater Grand Rapids, working to advance health, economic security, education, elder care, reentry supports, and community communications to improve outcomes for Black residents.

About BLACK IMPACT COLLABORATIVE

The Black Impact Collaborative is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) public charity based in Grand Rapids, Michigan that convenes local Black-led organizations and community leaders to coordinate services, communications, and events that address systemic disparities affecting Black residents. BIC organizes community-facing programs and signature events (including business expos, job fairs, and the annual Black Experience) and maintains a communications platform and response fund to direct resources and information to Black Greater Grand Rapids. The organization maintains public annual Form 990 filings and has expanded its activities and budget in recent years, focusing on economic opportunity, health and well-being, education supports, elder care, and reentry assistance.
