About ROTARY CLUB OF DENVER METRO SOUTH
Rotary Club of Denver Metro South is a local Rotary club in Rotary International District 5450 that organizes regular meetings, recurring hands-on service projects, and fundraising to support both community needs in the Denver metro area and international humanitarian work.
The club’s charitable work is supported by the Denver Metro South Rotary Club Foundation, which the club describes as a 501(c)(3) vehicle used to collect donations, award grants, and fund local programs (youth/education, community support, and global projects such as clean-water efforts).
Notable achievements
Co-led Epic Day of Service (2024)
Club leaders helped organize and lead Colorado’s EPIC Day of Service (May 18, 2024), one of many large coordinated service days that mobilized dozens of clubs and hundreds of volunteers across the state.
International clean-water & global grants
The club/Foundation has participated in international projects (noted examples include water projects in Nairobi and other global grant partnerships) that extend the club’s impact overseas.
Girls with Books sponsorship & local fundraisers (2024–2025)
Recent years saw the club sponsor and volunteer at literacy-focused events such as Girls with Books and run local fundraisers (for example, a 2025 sporting clay tournament) to raise funds for charitable programming.
