About GoServe

GoServe is a faith-based nonprofit launched in Michigan in 2021 to equip local churches and Christian organizations to meet practical needs in their communities through donated products and volunteer mobilization. The organization operates a hub-and-pod model: regional HUB warehouse/distribution centers supply PODs (local churches/partners) which mobilize trained volunteers (HEROes) to give goods and build relationships in neighborhoods. GoServe partners with retailers and suppliers to receive donated food, apparel and household items and channels those resources through church partners for direct community distribution. Leadership is drawn from Grand Rapids First Church leadership and GoServe emphasizes compassion evangelism — meeting material needs as an avenue to spiritual outreach and relationship-building.
