ALOHA WINE FOUNDATION

Aloha Wine Foundation is a Honolulu-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on supporting Hawaii’s wine and beverage professionals through need-based scholarships, education, and community-building events. The foundation runs recurring educational programs and convenings for sommeliers and hospitality workers to improve skills, access certification, and expand professional networks. In recent years the organization has produced annual sommelier summits (Aloha Decanted) and wine-focused fundraising galas, and operates a scholarship program that prioritizes candidates with demonstrated financial need and those working in restaurants, retail and distribution across the islands. The foundation has also engaged in local relief fundraising and partnered with regional wine and food festivals to amplify its scholarship and educational work. Aloha Wine Foundation maintains an active web presence, an events calendar (including Aloha Decanted 2026 hosted April 20–21, 2026), and an open scholarship application process, indicating it is an operating, donor-facing charity serving Hawaii’s hospitality community.
