HAWAII LOCAL 2030 HUB
Building lasting partnerships to drive sustainable solutions for Hawaiʻi’s communities, economy, and environment by aligning public, private, and community action to deliver the Aloha+ Challenge and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
About HAWAII LOCAL 2030 HUB
Hawaii Local 2030 Hub (operating as Hawaiʻi Green Growth, the Hawaiʻi Local2030/UN Local2030 Hub) is a statewide public–private partnership that convenes government, business, and community organizations to advance Hawaiʻi’s Aloha+ Challenge and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The organization acts as the backbone for measurement, coordination, and community-led implementation across multiple sustainability priorities including clean energy, natural resource management, local food systems, and resilient communities. In recent years the Hub has focused on translating measurement into action — producing Hawaiʻi’s Voluntary Local Review, maintaining the open-data Aloha+ Dashboard, convening Aloha+ Workdays across the islands, and launching a 2026–2030 Strategic Plan that shifts the network from reporting toward coordinated implementation and delivery on 2030 targets. The Hub centers place-based and Native Hawaiian values in its work and engages youth, community stewards, and partner agencies to scale locally-rooted solutions.
