About JACK MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY INC

JACK Mental Health Advocacy (JACK MHA) is a family-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, founded to support people living with obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and related disorders and to reduce stigma through education, resources, and community programs. The organization operates national initiatives — including evidence-based camp grants, subsidized clinical care, community outreach, and arts-based awareness projects — and partners with national organizations to expand access to treatment and public education.

Notable achievements

Plant A Camp — national camp launches

JACK MHA’s Plant A Camp program has funded and launched specialty summer camps for kids with OCD and related disorders across multiple states (including Georgia, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Idaho, Washington, Michigan, and Pennsylvania) and entered its fourth year of expansion in 2026, delivering evidence-based clinical care alongside peer camp experiences.

Access to Care subsidized therapy program

The charity runs an Access to Care program that subsidizes 56% of the cost (up to the national average of $170 per session) for up to 16 therapy sessions; the program added clinical outcomes tracking under Dr. Lacie Lazaroe to measure effectiveness (including reductions on clinician-rated OCD measures).

Public awareness partnerships & arts exhibit

JACK MHA has partnered with national campaigns and local cultural institutions — including serving as a launch partner in SixDegrees.org’s #IGETIT mental health campaign (May 2025) and expanding its 'Fearless' student art project into an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, featuring student artwork in support of Mental Health Awareness Month.
