Elevated Communities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and brain injuries—and their families—by providing individualized resource navigation, advocacy, and employment-readiness opportunities to promote independence, confidence, and community belonging.
About ELEVATED COMMUNITIES
Founded in April 2021 and serving Boulder and Weld counties, Elevated Communities operates social-enterprise programs that combine hands-on job training with community integration to help adults with IDD access meaningful work and supports.
Key program developments in the last 2–3 years include opening a Gently Used Clothing Boutique (November 2022) and operating an Elevated Communities Cat Café as training sites; the organization obtained federal tax-exempt status and expanded program delivery and fundraising activity through 2023–2024.
