About ZEPHYR IMPACT
Zephyr Impact is a Denver-based philanthropic advisory and collaborative philanthropy that works with families, foundations, and social-sector leaders to design impact funds, provide strategy and advisory services, and launch change initiatives. The organization was launched by Harbourton Foundation and StepChange Partners and positions itself as a partner for donors who want to pool resources and support high-potential social entrepreneurs and programs. In recent years Zephyr Impact has focused a dedicated Youth Wellbeing Portfolio that invests in upstream youth mental-health programs and has made multiple grant and cohort investments since 2023.
Notable achievements
Launched Youth Wellbeing Fund (Feb 2023)
In February 2023 Zephyr Impact launched a Youth Wellbeing Fund—its first dedicated issue fund—committing a collaborative grantmaking vehicle focused on upstream youth mental-health programs.
$1M commitment to Mindful Life Project
As part of the Youth Wellbeing Fund Zephyr Impact and its partners committed $1,000,000 over three years to the Mindful Life Project to expand mindfulness programming in California schools.
Spark Cohort grants awarded (Nov 20, 2023)
Zephyr Impact awarded a Spark Cohort of five youth-wellbeing organizations in November 2023, providing $20,000 in unrestricted funds to each grantee to support scale and program growth.
