RESCUE KITTIES OF HAWAII

Rescue Kitties of Hawaii (RKH) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) rescue based in Mililani, HI that rescues abandoned, injured, special-needs, and homeless cats across the Hawaiian islands and provides urgent medical care. The organization emphasizes emergency medical care, foster placement, trap-neuter-return-manage (TNRM) work, and adoption. RKH operates a flight-transfer program that ships adoptable cats and kittens to mainland partner rescues to increase adoption opportunities, and it regularly takes on critical cases that require immediate veterinary intervention. The group is volunteer-led and relies on community fundraising to cover vet bills and transport costs. Over the past 2–3 years RKH has grown its rescue and transport activity, secured partnerships with mainland rescues and specialty groups, and received local media coverage for several high-profile emergency rescues and reunifications; it has also run emergency fundraisers (including recent disaster-relief appeals) to support animals in immediate need.
