About ASIA SOCIETY NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
Asia Society Northern California (ASNC) is the San Francisco–area center of the global Asia Society network, operating as a nonprofit educational institution that connects the Bay Area to leaders in policy, business, arts & culture, education, and technology. The center runs public programs, policy briefings, cultural exhibitions, conferences, membership and corporate engagement, and fundraising events to promote U.S.–Asia understanding and collaboration. In recent years (2023–2025), ASNC has been active in convening high-profile convenings and signature events — including its annual Asia Game Changer West Awards Gala and the Future of U.S. & China conference series — and has developed a regional tech/programming series in partnership with other Asia Society centers (Northern California and Seattle) to deepen cross‑Pacific dialogue on technology and geopolitics. The organization is an operating 501(c)(3) donor-facing center with an established web presence and regular media and institutional partnerships in the Bay Area.
