The Will King Foundation, Inc.

The Will King Foundation, Inc. is a Jacksonville, Florida–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 88-2506709) established in honor of Will King to support children who need life‑saving heart care. The organization was created informally in 2018 and later incorporated in Florida (corporate filing May 25, 2022). Through partnerships with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the Patrons of the Hearts program and international partners (including the Hospital of Hope in Togo), the foundation helps cover medical and travel needs for children brought to Jacksonville for cardiac care. As of the foundation’s August 24, 2025 donor letter, the organization reported that twelve children had received life‑saving heart treatment supported by the foundation. In recent years the foundation has broadened its stated focus beyond direct medical support to include education and youth sports as complementary ways to promote healthy hearts and resilient futures. In 2025 the foundation announced a temporary pause of its annual Gather + Give fundraiser while it retools programming and fundraising approaches and continues a campaign to establish a dedicated endowment for international pediatric cardiology.
