About Grand Rapids Youth Choruses

Grand Rapids Youth Choruses (GRYC) is a donor-facing, performing-arts nonprofit based in Grand Rapids, Michigan that operates multiple ensembles for children and teens (Young Voices, Melodia, Mosaic Singers, Youth Chorus, Mandala and Alumni Plus). The organization provides regular rehearsals, tuition-based instruction with scholarship support, community outreach performances, and collaborative concerts with regional partners. In recent seasons GRYC has expanded programming (including a Young Voices ensemble for kindergarten–1st grade), maintained partnerships with institutions such as Calvin University and the Grand Rapids Symphony, and resumed touring and commissioning activity. GRYC reported operating revenue and expenses consistent with a small regional arts nonprofit in its most recent public filings and continues to run scholarship and outreach programs to lower barriers to participation.
