About Crested Butte Botanic Gardens
Crested Butte Botanic Gardens is a community-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Gunnison County, Colorado, developing educational garden displays and programs tailored to high‑altitude ecosystems.
The organization builds partnerships with the town, local museums and community groups to deliver hands‑on learning about native plants, water‑wise gardening and habitat conservation while planning for a permanent garden site.
In recent years the Gardens have emphasized native‑plant education, small grants and public programming (including on‑site demonstration projects) to increase local stewardship of alpine and montane landscapes.

Three Ladies Native Garden
