About PAUL'S MYSTERY SHIP TO END ALS

Paul's Mystery Ship To End ALS is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88-2999425) founded to continue Paul Dannels’ legacy of compassion, mentorship, and community service by supporting people impacted by ALS and related neurological conditions.

The organization runs community fundraising events, awards post-secondary scholarships for students affected by neuromuscular disease, and provides financial and equipment assistance and advocacy to families living with ALS.

Since its founding, the nonprofit has developed recurring signature events and local partnerships to raise funds and awareness while directing 100% of donated funds to its mission-driven programs.

Notable achievements

Establishment of Kindness Through Giving Fund

Created a scholarship and assistance fund dedicated to supporting education and basic needs for people and families affected by ALS and similar conditions.

Annual Walk to End ALS

Launched and sustained an annual community walk in Castle Rock that has become a signature fundraising and awareness event for the organization.

Awarding scholarships (recent recipients)

Announced scholarship recipients for 2025 and continues an active scholarship program with open applications for future academic years.
