About Startup Colorado
Startup Colorado is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on empowering entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders in rural Colorado through accelerators, pitch competitions, mentoring, and an on-demand resource center.
The organization operates place-based cohorts and statewide initiatives that connect founders with capital, advisors, and community partners, and it serves founders across dozens of rural counties with a rural-based staff and a growing advisor network.

Pitch Competition impact
Startup Colorado’s pitch events (notably at West Slope Startup Week) catalyzed more than $380,000 in direct investments and awards at a single competition, and participating founders have since raised over $2 million collectively.
Program growth and community scale
The organization expanded its Founder Coopetition offerings into Growth Challenge cohorts, launched an Advisor Network, and grew its online community to more than 2,100 members across the state.
