About Pikes Peak Athletic Foundation
Pikes Peak Athletic Foundation (PPAF) is a Colorado-based charitable foundation established in 2023 that operates as a grantmaking organization to support school athletic programs across the Pikes Peak region. The foundation launched a pilot program in the fall of 2023 to deliver equipment and apparel to area high schools with demonstrated need.
Since its launch, PPAF has run seasonal application rounds for local high school athletic directors and awarded multiple grants to area programs. In 2023 the foundation made six grants to local school athletic programs, distributing grants to recipients such as Mitchell High School, Widefield High School, Coronado High School, Canon City High School, School District 11, and a local program/partner (Lion Heart PRBA LLC).
