About Golden Lotus Foundation

Golden Lotus Foundation is a Colorado Springs-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (founded 2011) that promotes Asian cultural heritage through education, community events, and preservation projects.

The organization develops public programs, volunteer initiatives, grants/scholarships and a long-term project to create an Asian Heritage Center with a botanical garden and teahouse to provide intergenerational cultural experiences.

Asian Heritage Center partnership & site

Partnered with Colorado Springs to establish the Asian Heritage Center at 1819 W. Cheyenne Road (an 8.48-acre site with a lily pond); active master planning, cleanup and site work have taken place since the early 2020s.

GLF Legacy Charitable Trust grant

Operates volunteer-based grant support (GLF Legacy Charitable Trust) that offers small project grants to volunteers and supports scholarships, cultural projects and community participation.
