Westside Alive

Westside Alive is an evangelical Christian nonprofit based in Mililani, Hawaiʻi that organizes regular outreach to underserved communities along Oʻahu’s Leeward Coast. The organization runs weekly discipleship, children’s ministry, food distribution, and Sunday worship with houseless neighbors at Waianae Boat Harbor and in Nanakuli, and partners with local churches and mission groups to connect people to long-term church-based care. In recent years Westside Alive has operated as a donor-facing 501(c)(3) ministry (tax-exempt since late 2022) and has reported increasing donor support and program activity; its work includes coordinated food distributions, medical/dental mercy ministry collaborations, monthly community celebration events, and repeat volunteer training to equip Christians for relational evangelism. The organization emphasizes hands-on training (motivate, equip, reach) so volunteers develop caring relationships with non-believers and follow up toward discipleship and church connection. Westside Alive maintains an active public web presence, posts schedules and outreach opportunities online, and partners with other local ministries (including medical/dental outreach partners) to provide basic health screening, meals, and spiritual care on the Westside of Oʻahu.
