WILDERNESS INQUIRY INC

Wilderness Inquiry is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs inclusive outdoor education, day-programs, and multi-day adventures—ranging from the nationwide Canoemobile floating classroom to extended backcountry and international trips. The organization focuses on removing barriers to participation through adaptive equipment, trained support personnel, financial aid, and program models that serve schools, families, communities, and people with disabilities. In recent years Wilderness Inquiry has scaled its programs while maintaining audited financial reporting and formal evaluations: in 2025 the organization reported connecting tens of thousands of youth, families, and individuals to nature through Canoemobile and related day programs and operating leadership and career-pathway programs for emerging outdoor professionals.
