About AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HIGHWAY ENGINEERS COLORADO
The ASHE Colorado Section is the Colorado chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers, a professional membership organization for the highway and transportation industry. The Colorado Section was formally chartered in May 2024 and operates as a local section delivering technical programs, project tours, and networking for professionals across the state.
ASHE Colorado organizes regular technical meetings, CDOT and project updates, site tours, mentorship and younger-member activities, and industry social events. The Section works closely with public agencies, consultants, contractors and professional societies to deliver continuing-education, professional development and community-facing programming.

Section chartered (May 8, 2024)
ASHE Colorado was formally chartered in May 2024, establishing a dedicated local section to deliver ASHE programming and member services in Colorado.
Regional membership award (2025)
The Colorado Section received regional recognition (Robert E. Yeager Award) in 2025 for strong membership balance and recruiting efforts among ASHE sections.
Active technical program launch (2024–2025)
Since chartering, the Section has run a steady calendar of technical briefings, CDOT updates, project-focused meetings and project tours that engaged practitioners across the state.
