About Confluence Center of Colorado Inc.

Confluence Center of Colorado is a collaborative nonprofit hub located at the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison Rivers that consolidates office, education, and public-facing space for multiple land- and water-focused partner organizations. The Center’s facility plan includes shared nonprofit workspace, an interpretive lobby, and an employer-based STREAM (Science, Technology, Rivers, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) preschool.

Since formalizing as a 501(c)(3) in 2023 the Confluence Center has run a capital campaign to build the facility, secured major philanthropic support, and advanced to construction with a community groundbreaking in 2025. The Center’s programming and design emphasize river and watershed science, outdoor education, restoration partnerships, and early-childhood STREAM learning tied to the local river corridor.
