About Step Springs

Step Springs is a Colorado-based residential recovery community established as the first replication of the long-running Step Denver model. It implements a peer-centered program built around four pillars—Sobriety, Work, Accountability, and Community—to help men experiencing addiction and homelessness rebuild self-sufficiency.

Following a capital and programming launch in 2024–2025, Step Springs opened a 50-bed facility in Colorado Springs (October 28, 2025) that provides same-day, no-cost admission for men ready to begin recovery. The program projects to serve 160 men in its first year and leverages Step Denver’s documented outcomes (e.g., sustained sobriety and rapid employment placement) as the basis for its impact goals.
