About SAN FRANCISCO OPERA GUILD

San Francisco Opera Guild is a separate, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco that operates education and community engagement programs connected with the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House. The Guild runs year-round school programs (Sing a Story, Opera Together, Book to Bravo!, Voices for Social Justice), community ensembles and training (Opera Scouts, Madrigals, Summer Conservatory), and public programming such as Opera Preview lectures. In recent years the Guild has continued to expand and publish updated education materials (including a 2025–26 Education Brochure) and to operate multi-site programming that reaches tens of thousands of students annually.
