CITY YOUTH NOW

City Youth Now is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that partners with youth who have experience in the foster care and juvenile justice systems to promote stability, education, workforce readiness, and long-term success. The organization operates inside the Juvenile Justice Center and through community programs, offering academic support, paid internships, scholarships, and material assistance. In the last several years City Youth Now has expanded preventive and reentry-focused services, published annual impact reports (including 2023 and 2024 editions), and continued to scale youth-facing supports. Recent program highlights include a youth-led Free Store and strengthened education-to-employment programming that reports measurable post-program transitions for participants. City Youth Now maintains a sustained partnership with the San Francisco Juvenile Court System and local social-service partners, serving a broad caseload of youth and transitional-age youth annually and centering equity and youth voice across its programs.
