About Youth Tennis Advantage

Youth Tennis Advantage (YTA) is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) youth development organization that uses tennis as the vehicle to deliver year-round athletic, academic and life-skills programming for under-resourced young people. The organization traces its roots to local junior tennis efforts dating to the late 1960s and formally operates today as a merged, city-serving nonprofit dedicated to equity and opportunity.

YTA runs after-school and summer programs across multiple Bay Area locations, serving more than 300 youth annually, and emphasizes academic support, social-emotional learning, and pathways to higher education and leadership. The organization maintains active partnerships with the USTA Foundation, local parks and recreation departments, and community foundations and has recent activity supporting court revitalization and expanded access in San Francisco and neighboring cities.
