SAN FRANCISCO CHILDRENS ART CENTER

San Francisco Children’s Art Center (SFCAC) is a long‑standing 501(c)(3) arts education organization based at Fort Mason in San Francisco that provides process‑based visual arts instruction for children ages 2–10 through studio classes, summer camps, and school residency programs. SFCAC operates citywide, delivering in‑school residencies and community workshops that emphasize creative exploration, social-emotional learning, and family participation; the organization reports serving roughly 1,200 children annually and partners with San Francisco Unified School District and Head Start classrooms. In recent years SFCAC has continued to expand its outreach and professional development for educators while maintaining low-cost and scholarship-supported programming designed to increase equitable access to the arts for historically underserved families in San Francisco.
