SOUTHEAST ASIAN COMMUNITY CENTER

The Southeast Asian Community Center (SEACC) is a multi-service, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco that serves Southeast Asian immigrant and refugee communities and small businesses across the Greater Bay Area. SEACC offers culturally and linguistically accessible services including small-business technical assistance and microloans, housing counseling, ESL and vocational training, immigration assistance, a food pantry, and other social services. SEACC has been tax-exempt since 1979 and has operated for multiple decades as a stable community anchor in San Francisco’s immigrant service ecosystem. The organization is also an approved intermediary for the U.S. Small Business Administration Microloan program and maintains partnerships and support from local funders and civic programs. In recent years SEACC has continued direct client-facing operations (including weekly food distribution, housing counseling, ESL classes, and business lending/advising) and lists an active Board and staff providing bilingual services; its programs report ongoing service levels such as a weekly food distribution that reaches roughly 250 immigrant households and an active SBA microloan intermediary program.
